9mm HHPs expand reliably at subsonic velocity

  12. Richard Hazlewood on February 28, 2019 at 5:03 pm

Love your bullets, especially the HHP and the heavy plated ones

  13. Slh on February 28, 2019 at 5:23 pm

Berry’s – first and now only place for plated bullets. Tried others, they don’t even com close to Barry’s price for the quality they deliver, and delivery is quick. Example, – 44 mag requires a heavy crimp, after loading, had to pull a few, bullet looked good -_- crimp did not cut through plating while some others did. When recovered they were still in one piece, others had shed their plating just below the crimp line.

“”””Hey, thank you Barry’s for effort put in and quality of product.”””!!!

  14. Frank McCray on February 28, 2019 at 5:24 pm

The 45 HHP’s look so “BAD” that if they came close they would hurt. Should be named “BERRY’S BAD BOYS”

  15. Bill Rottstedt on February 28, 2019 at 5:34 pm

I would not want to at the terminal performance ballistics end of that projectile! Ouch!

  16. L Hensch on February 28, 2019 at 5:36 pm

Used to be made locally here in California, but now made in Utah!
I have used them for a years.

    Best Cranial Implant EVER!

  18. Chris Hickman on February 28, 2019 at 5:47 pm

Over the past 5-6 years, I have fired thousands of Berry’s plated bullets. I have reloaded thousands more and have probably 6-7 thousand more in ammo cans. With the advent of their Hybrid Hollow Point bullets, there’s no reason to go anywhere else. Berry’s is THE one stop shop.

    • Jimmy Green on March 2, 2019 at 10:27 pm

      Been using Berry’s since 2013, 380, 9mm, 40 and 45. Most recently 458 socom. They’re all awesome bullets.

  24. Philip John Theodhor on February 28, 2019 at 6:49 pm

I have used Berry’s 9mm, & 45 cal. RN bullets for a while now ( 4 Yrs.). I think they are quality well worth their weight in GOLD, I MEAN LEAD.
I really do enjoy shooting them & along with my wife what more could you ask for. liability, quality. and accuracy. Thanks to all of your staff !!
Would love to try the new Hollow point defensive round in both 9mm and 45.,but I can’t find them here in Florida unless I special order them.
I wish your dealer network would expand so that you could reach a larger target (HA HA) audience here in the Southlands of this great country.
Again Thanks for the quality that you put in all your product lines.

Berry’s is an awesome Utah company, and thoroughly deserving of the title ‘Coolest thing made in Utah’ competition. After all, what’s more primal than defending yourself and loved ones? This God-given natural right is reinforced by Berry’s hybrid hollow points.

  26. Paul Stephens on February 28, 2019 at 7:28 pm

I use Berry’s plated bullets in my 9mm. The accuracy with my loads in my gun is excellent with approximately 1″ groups at 25 yards from my CZ 75B using the 124 grain bullets and Hodgdon TiteGroup powder.
I don’t carry the gun for self defense – I haven’t got to the point where I believe the 9mm is a “good enough” caliber for that use. The gun is used in shooting steel plates, three gun competition and general target practice.
I do wish Berry’s made a 35 caliber bullet capable of over 1500 fps for my 357 but so far I use Sierra 140 grain JHP for it and the 158 grain JHC bullets in my 357 Maximum.
Berry’s bullets are terrific in my 9mm and I do use a lot of them. I have tried the 115 grain and they shoot well but the edge goes to the heavier bullet for consistently good power and accuracy.

  27. Paul Stephens on February 28, 2019 at 7:42 pm

I have not tried the HHP bullets so I am not qualified to vote on these but I will vote for Berry’s Bullets as high quality, low price products from a top notch company that delivers great products on time at great prices. I decided to try Berry’s because of the price but the accuracy that I get with them is at least as good as with any other bullet including from Sierra. Right at 1 inch groups at 25 yards consistently and a bit smaller at times that I am right on my game.
I owe Berry’s a big thank you for their product and services. I am a lifetime customer.

Where is Dealer in Eastern IDAHO

  29. Glen Alexander on February 28, 2019 at 9:56 pm

Can’t decide whether I prefer the .45 or the 9mm since they both are awesome. The hybrid is a winner and I don’t have to worry about either going thru a burglar in my home and continuing thru the walls and killing the neighbors refrigerator. I have always been happy with Berry’s products and will certainly continue using them for my reloading.

Berry’s makes good quality bullets. Have been reloading these for years.
Haven’t tried out the new hybrid bullets. New to test them this summer for penetration and expansion .

  33. Bob Wagner on March 1, 2019 at 3:45 pm

I have loaded and tried them on a watermelon, quite an explosion! I vote for Berry”s

  34. Morgan Walter on March 1, 2019 at 10:49 pm

I got some of your 380 95 grain HHP bullets and have some loaded up but it’s been too cold to get out and try them. I have no doubt they will preform at least as good or better than any similar bullet out there. I like the extra 5 grains of weight just because you need all the weight you can get with this small round. I tried some other 95 grain HPs with Auto Comp powder and got nice tight groups and hope these will shoot just as well or better. I plan to try some other calibers and weights in the HHP line as soon as it warms up around here. I’m disabled too and scooting around on ice and snow takes a lot of the fun out of shooting. I’d like to see a 32 caliber version of these to use in the H&R Magnum or even the 327 Magnum! Keep up the great work Berry’s.

High quality with reasonable price .

I’ve been using Berry’s Hybrid bullets in 180 grain 40 S&W reloading for competition and carry. Whether using a Glock model 22, 27 , H&K USP, Sig 226, or Sig 2340, I’m able to constantly place in the top 3. Best of all, I’m shooting both pin and steel matches with the same EXACT 180 grain Berry’s Hybrid bullets I carry for self defense. This is priceless to have an affordable high performance, hybrid hollow point bullet ,that’s inexpensive enough for ALL PURPOSES.

I’ve used Berry’s bullets for many years now. I’ve shot competitive events with them, and nothing beats the accuracy that I get with them. I love the product and wouldn’t use any other bullet.
